Terms of Service

Effective date: October 28, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FaithLyft website and mobile app (together, the "Service"), operated by Two Girls and a Bible Inc. ("FaithLyft," "we," "us," or "our"). By registering your church, joining as a member, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. WHAT FAITHLYFT IS

FaithLyft is a directory that helps churches and faith-based outreach ministries coordinate voluntary rides among their own members. Any ride arranged through FaithLyft is a free, uncompensated favor between members, like giving a friend a ride somewhere, not a commercial transportation service. FaithLyft does not arrange, dispatch, supervise, or guarantee any ride.

2. ELIGIBILITY

FaithLyft is intended for registered 501(c)(3) churches and the outreach ministries of such churches. By registering your organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act on its behalf and that it is a qualifying church or outreach ministry. We may ask you to confirm your organization's nonprofit status at any time, and may suspend or remove a church record that does not qualify or was registered in error. FaithLyft is currently available only to churches and members located in the United States.

Age requirements: You must be at least 18 years old to register an individual FaithLyft account or to act as a driver. A member under 18 may use FaithLyft only when accompanied by an approved adult, a parent, guardian, or another adult approved by the member's parent or guardian; FaithLyft does not support unaccompanied minor riders. A parent or guardian may request rides on behalf of their own child through their own adult account.

3. REGISTRATION AND FEES

A church registers by selecting a plan based on congregation size and paying the applicable one-time setup fee, which covers the first year:

Starter plan: up to 150 members, $99 setup fee, $29/year renewal

Growing plan: 150 to 400 members, $149 setup fee, $39/year renewal

Established plan: 401 to 1,000 members, $199 setup fee, $59/year renewal

Mega plan: over 1,000 members, $299 setup fee, $89/year renewal

Members never pay anything to join or use FaithLyft, on any plan. After registration, your organization receives a join code; any member of your congregation may use that code to join the app at no cost.

Setup fees are non-refundable once a join code has been issued. Annual renewal keeps your organization's join code active; if a renewal lapses, your organization's members may lose access until the organization renews.

4. NO LIABILITY FOR RIDES

FaithLyft and the registering church do not arrange, dispatch, supervise, or guarantee any ride, and hold no liability for any ride arranged through the Service. Every ride is worked out directly between an individual driver and rider, and each of them personally assumes full responsibility and liability for that ride, the same as if one member were simply giving another a ride somewhere as a favor.

FaithLyft does not conduct criminal background checks, driving record checks, or vehicle inspections on any member, and does not provide auto liability or personal injury insurance for any ride. Each driver's own personal auto insurance governs any accident, injury, or damage arising from a ride.

Members using the app agree to the full Voluntary Carpool & Liability Release presented in the app the first time they use it.

5. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Church administrators agree to provide accurate information about their organization and to share their join code only with their own church's members. Administrators may remove a member or revoke a driver's approval at any time; doing so does not create liability for the church or FaithLyft for rides that already took place.

Driver self-certification: By registering as a driver, you self-certify, without submitting any documents to FaithLyft, that you are at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license, maintain auto insurance meeting your state's minimum requirements, and have had no license suspension or revocation in recent years. You agree to stop driving through FaithLyft immediately if any of that changes. FaithLyft does not independently verify this self-certification and does not collect, store, or review driver's licenses, insurance documents, or background check results. Any further driver screening, credential verification, or document collection is the sole responsibility of the registering church or ministry, which may adopt its own requirements for its own members.

All members agree to use FaithLyft honestly and respectfully, and not to use the Service for any purpose other than coordinating voluntary rides within their own church community.

6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FaithLyft and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or for any ride arranged through it.

8. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate a church's or member's access to the Service at any time, including for violation of these Terms, non-renewal, or ineligibility under Section 2.

9. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. FaithLyft is currently offered only to churches and members located in the United States. This choice of law does not limit any consumer protection rights you cannot waive under the mandatory law of your home state; where a provision of these Terms would otherwise conflict with such a non-waivable right, the more protective rule applies to that provision only.

10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.

11. CONTACT US

Questions about these Terms? Contact us at hello@faithlyft.com.

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND ARBITRATION

This section covers disputes about your use of the FaithLyft app and Service. It does not change the fact that an actual ride is a personal arrangement between the member offering it and the member accepting it, no different than a friend giving a friend a ride to church.

Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at hello@faithlyft.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve the issue informally.

If that does not resolve it, you and FaithLyft agree that any dispute about these Terms or the Service will be decided by binding individual arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act instead of in court, except that either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court.

You and FaithLyft each agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, not as a class action, class arbitration, or other representative proceeding, and an arbitrator may not combine more than one person's claims.

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement and class-action waiver by emailing hello@faithlyft.com within 30 days of first agreeing to these Terms and stating that you opt out. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.

If any part of this section is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, only that claim may proceed in court rather than in arbitration, and the rest of this section still applies.

Draft prepared for Two Girls and a Bible Inc. This is a starting point, not legal advice, pending board and attorney review.
